Faculty Travel Grants

The Women’s and Gender Studies Program offers grants to support Women’s and Gender Studies faculty travel to attend and/or present papers at conferences relevant to the field of Women’s and Gender Studies. Grants are available as follows: WGST Council members  and WGST Graduate Certificate students: $400 and WGST faculty members WGST : $200. Interested individuals should complete the Faculty Travel Grant Request form and bring or mail it to the Women’s and Gender Studies Program office (JUB 308, MTSU Box 498). For a copy of the form select the link above or stop by the office. Listed below are guidelines and requirements for Women’s and Gender Studies Program travel grants:

• Travel Grants are available only to Women’s and Gender Studies Council members, Women’s and Gender Studies faculty, and Women’s and Gender Studies Graduate Certificate Students to attend and/or present papers at conferences relevant to the field of Women’s and Gender Studies.
   
• Maximum grant amounts are $400 for Women’s and Gender Studies Council members and Women’s and Gender Graduate Certificate Students and $200 for Women’s and Gender Studies faculty.
  
• Individuals may receive only one grant per MTSU fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
   
• Women’s Studies Council members must attend at least one Council meeting per academic year and engage in active service on at least one WGST program committee.
